This is not true! Our hairpins are suitable for all types of hair from the moment the length reaches the middle of the neck.
This size guide will help you choose the right shape and length of hairpin for your hair.
Whether stiff, flexible, wavy or curly, only the volume of your bun (small, medium, large) will guide the choice of the right hook.
Our metal hair jewels are declined in two shapes: curved or straight.
The curved hairpin will match a hair from the top of the shoulders to the lower back for normal hair, thick or very thick but also for a hair a little thinner depending on its length. The volume of the bun should be medium to large. To better meet the needs of each woman, it comes in 2 lengths: short (10 cm) and long (12 cm).
The straight hairpin corresponds to fine to very fine hair with a small to medium volume. It also exists in 2 lengths: short (9 cm) and long (11 cm).
Use the information below to estimate the volume of your bun that will determine the size of the hair jewel you need.

→ Thick to very thick hair: Length: shoulder blades to the bottom of the back.
→ Normal thickness: Mid back to bottom of the back.

If your hair is very fine and long below the shoulder blades and your bun reaches a medium volume, then choose:
But beware: The long straight hairpin requires a little practice so that the hook stays well inside the bun (you have to start at the top and go down well vertically). If you have some volume and are not sure of your technique we advise you to choose a short curved hook (10 cm) which is easier to hide.
