A love story
The story begins in 1992. The beautiful adventure rather. A change of life is at the origin of the birth of Coklat-Ibiza. Passionate about travels, I take a break from my Parisian life to travel around the world for several years, looking for encounters, discoveries from elsewhere. Along the way, I collect treasures: precious or ethnic jewelry, stones, unusual objects…
Fascinated by traditional ethnic art, especially by hairstyle accessories of women crossed in Asia, Africa or elsewhere, I finally decide to realize my passion: create jewels and the desire to dress women’s hair drives me towards the elaboration of a first collection of handcrafted wooden hairpins in Indonesia. I sell this collection in Australian craft markets and the success is immediate.

La Isla bonita
Back in Europe in 1997, attracted by the Hippie and artistic movement of Ibiza, I decide to settle there and I get the chance to show my creations on local craft markets. The concept of being able to make a hairdo in a few seconds while sublimating it seduces the women visiting the island who become then my best ambassadors by carrying my jewels in their countries.
Over the years my collections evolve and I use new materials as metal, Swarovski crystals, lacquers…
My philosophy
I want to give to every woman the freedom to wear a unique jewel that really looks like her. For over 20 years, I propose an original hair accessory, regularly renewing my collections according to my desires without really undergoing fashion dictates. When creating my collections I always look for the right balance between fashion and craftsmanship, trend and timeless, precious and accessible.
Symbols of femininity, enhancers of style, reflection of the personality, my jewels that the women wear, give a glimpse of their personality, punctuate their style, and display their mood. I focus on creating jewelry to the image of women of today, active, chic, cool, spontaneous and uninhibited. Women with a thousand lives in one…
